Sultry but as self-assured as ever, the narrative of the ups and downs of a relationship is one she has mastered yet one she never fails to thrive in. Her vocals remain some of the silkiest in the game – combined with The Neptunes signature production, and a feature from Ty Dolla $ign? A match made in heaven.
Of course, however, SZA remains firmly the star of the show. With so many fans desperately awaiting new music, that first release had to be gold with such high expectations. ‘Hit Different’ is exactly that. SZA never fails to hype you up in a way – ‘Hit Different’ is no different, offering the confidence boost that we need right now more than ever.
